Peppermint cream with crunchy, bittersweet chocolate. Gluten-free. For most of my 20 years in ice cream I avoided making mint chocolate chip. I wanted to create new flavors, not look back at the old days. Then, in 2016, we challenged ourselves to recreate classic ice creams as good as we remember, but better than they ever were. Now i love green mint chip, especially on a fresh and flaky sugar cone. We naturally color it with spirulina for a beautiful green hue. Pure peppermint oil and crunchy s bittersweet chocolate made with Fair Trade cocoa beans provide a cool and complex finish. Dare I say it's my new favorite? Grass-grazed milk. jenis.com.
