our Stores Clean and Safe for our Associates and Customers!
“By direction of the
State of Ohio’s Stay at Home Order, Acme Fresh Market asks its great customers
to allow the 7-8am grocery shopping hour to be reserved for our most vulnerable
customers,” said Katie Swartz, Vice President of Marketing.
Acme
Fresh Market is continuing to act swiftly to implement social distancing
measures. Acme has added visual
reminders to encourage social distancing in its stores, including taped lines
every six feet at key locations. These
taped lines will be in place at customer service, pharmacy counters, and
checkout lanes. Acme respectfully
requests that customers and associates respect the six foot minimum distance.
This week, Acme installed
temporary plastic shields at
registers to provide a physical barrier between the cashiers and
customers. Acme also implemented “Night
and Day” scheduling, to reduce the number of associates in the store at any
time. In addition to social distancing,
Acme also continues to increase its cleaning of hard surfaces. Stores are cleaned and sanitized with
hospital-grade disinfectants each evening.
Additionally, carts and hand baskets are cleaned and sanitized
overnight.
Acme Fresh Market politely requests
that customers not bring re-usable bags or cloth bags to the stores in the
spirit of “Social Distancing” and minimizing handling exposures to
associates.
