Acme Fresh Market– Feeding the Families of our Community!

“As the local grocer, Acme is truly in this with you.  We are working hard and thoughtfully in order to continue our proud tradition of feeding the families of our community.  We will continue to implement processes that help us achieve our goal of running clean, neat, and safe stores,” said Nick Albrecht, President of Acme Fresh Market.

When Acme Fresh Market closes each evening, additional crews sanitize the stores with hospital-grade sanitizers and focus cleaning efforts including check-outs.  During open hours, more frequent cleaning and sanitation has been implemented, especially in high-touch areas.  Certain areas, like all cafes, salad bars and donut cases, have been closed.   Acme has also implemented technology at each lane that permits the customer to scan their own Acme Fresh Market Savings Card so that the cashier des not touch the customer’s keys.  Apple Pay and Google Pay is available for touchless transaction.

Customers may notice changes to the ways associates interact with each other and with customers.  Acme is encouraging Associates to use “Social Distancing” to minimize the contact between associates and customers in the store.  Additionally, customers are asked to leave at least 6 feet of space between themselves and other customers while shopping and while in line at Acme stores.

All Acme Fresh Market food service associates have always followed strict food safety protocol related to hand-washing.  Beginning March 1, Acme Fresh Market expanded its hand-washing protocols.  These steps are in addition to the stringent hand-washing protocol already in place in all food service departments.
